If you’re looking to goof around in Red Dead Redemption 2, or maybe explore some areas quicker without repercussions, there are some cheat codes you can use to help you out.
Keep in mind that not only are achievements disabled once you turn on any cheats, that you can’t save your game either.
The following cheat codes are still useful though if you ask me. Maybe you want to practice robbing a train or bank without repercussions. Maybe you want to try out a gun before you buy it. Maybe you want to wipe out an entire town in frustration!
Ok, we’re getting a little off topic. Let’s get back to the cheat codes.
I’ve sectioned them out into two groups. The first group is the list of cheat codes you can use at any point in the game, and the second group is the list of cheat codes you need newspapers from a certain chapter in order to use.
To use any of the following cheat codes, do the following:
Pause the game, then press Y on Xbox One, or Triangle on PS4 to bring up the cheats list, then press Y or Triangle again to enter a code.
Cheat Codes Unlocked by Default
The following cheat codes have no requirement to use. Note that none of these cheat codes are case sensitive.

Cheat Codes Locked to Story Progression
The following cheat codes require newspapers that are only available in certain chapters of the story. Again, note that none of these cheat codes are case sensitive.
