In Pokemon Let’s Go: Eevee and Pokemon Let’s Go: Pikachu for the Nintendo Switch, each version has eleven different exclusive pokemon that you can only catch naturally within their respective games.
This is fairly similar to the way the original Gameboy games worked, in that you would have to trade for some pokemon that weren’t in your version if you really wanted to fill out that pokedex.
