Charmander was one of the starter pokemon in the original pokemon games, and while it isn’t a starter in Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee and Pikachu, it is available to catch in both versions of the game. It’s not super common however, so you’ll have to put in a little work to find one.
How to Find and Catch Charmander in Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee and Pikachu
There are a couple different ways to find a Charmander. The first place you’ll find one is typically in Route 3 and Route 4. You’ll want to increase your Catch Combo to increase your chances of it spawning. To increase your catch combo, continue to catch fire type pokemon in a row, and whatever you do don’t run from battles as this resets your combo.
Alternatively if you’re still having a hard time finding Charmander, head to Route 24 once you’ve caught 50 pokemon. Go past the Nugget Bridge and look for a guy in a blue shirt with a Charmander standing next to him. He’ll give you a Charmander if you have caught 50 pokemon.
