Squirtle was one of the starter pokemon in the original pokemon games (also the BEST starter, am I right?), and while it isn’t a starter in Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee and Pikachu, it is available to catch in both versions of the game. It is somewhat rare however, so you’ll have to do a little digging to find and catch one.
How to Find and Catch Squirtle in Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee and Pikachu
There are a couple different ways to find a Squirtle. The first place you’ll find one is typically in Route 25. You’ll want to increase your Catch Combo to increase your chances of it spawning. To increase your catch combo, continue to catch water type pokemon in a row. Remember not to run from any battles or else you’ll lose your Catch Combo.
Alternatively if you’re still having a hard time finding Squirtle, head Vermillion City once you catch 60 pokemon. To the right of the Pokemon Center you’ll see Officer Jenny, and she will give you a Squirtle if you have caught 60 pokemon.
