In The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for the Wii, you can upgrade the beetles in the game at the Scrap Shop by collecting various items throughout the world.
Here are the beetle upgrades, and what you need to collect to upgrade them.
Quick Beetle – Upgraded From:Â Hook Beetle, Cost: 50 Rupees, Ingredients: 2 Ancient Flowers,1 Golden Skull, 2 Hornet Larvae
Tough Beetle – Upgraded From:Â Quick Beetle, Cost: 50 Rupees, Ingredients: 4 Amber Relics, 3 Ancient Flowers, 1 Blue Bird Feather, 1 Goddess Plume
