In Duke Nukem Forever for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, there is a tricky part in The Lady Killer chapter where you have to try to stop an elevator using a lever on top.
The trick to stopping the elevator is to hold the lever until he lets go and the temp is at the top, then let go until it goes back down, and repeat.
The best way to do it is to keep the gauge moving up and down constantly, making it go to the top and bottom every time. It can take between 8 to 10 pulls before it will stop.
