The Elder Scrolls V – Skyrim: Where to Find Dog Followers

November 29, 2011 Posted by DoubleDizle PS3, XBox 360

In The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, there are a few dog followers in the world that can help you fight on your adventures. They can’t carry anything for you, but on the other hand you can have a dog and a human follower as well, essentially increasing your attack power.

Here are the dog companions, and where you can find them.

Meeko – Meeko can be found near a house called Meeko’s Shack. This shack found on the road east of Dragon Bridge, about half way from Dragon Bridge to Morthal. Inside the shack you’ll find a dead man, and a journal on the end table talking about Meeko. Meeko can typically be found near the road, and sometimes comes back to the house to check on his dead master. Meeko will follow you for no charge.

Vigilance – Vigilance can be purchased for 500 gold from a man named Banning at the Markarth Stables near Markarth. If you ask Vigilance to go home, you’ll have to pay another 500 gold to have him follow you again.
