PS3 Error: ‘An error has occurred. You have been signed out of PlayStation Network (8001050F)”

March 1, 2010 Posted by admin PS3

Users of the older, non-slip Playstation 3 units have been getting tons of errors lately after an update that causes the following errors:

An error has occurred. You have been signed out of PlayStation Network (8001050F)

The current date and time could not be obtained. (8001050F)<

Failed to install trophies. Please exit your game.

The errors occur when users attempt to login to the PlayStation Network, set the time or date via Internet, or launch a game with trophy data respectively.

The only thing PS3 players are left to do is sit and wait for Sony to come out with an update. If you haven’t updated your PS3 yet, I would keep my console offline until further notice.
