Life is Crime: Easy XP and Fast Leveling

November 9, 2011 Posted by DoubleDizle Android

In Life is Crime for the Android platform, how fast you can level up is based strictly on how much XP you can gain per day. Some methods in the game work better than others as far as getting the best benefit for your points though, so which ones work best?

Missions, Missions, Missions

Missions are by far the best XP in the game. Most missions provide at or around 10 points of XP per point of energy, and nothing else even comes close to that. Buying and dropping off packages are somewhere around 1 point of XP per point of nergy. Obviously they make a lot more money than you get from missions, but as far as XP is concerned, Missions are where it’s at.

Not only do you get a lot of XP for missions, but you get XP from some of the Mastery missions as well. Bronze Stealing, Bronze Mugging, as well as Bronze Visiting (hospitals) provide large XP bonuses. Aim toward getting these first if you really want to level up fast. Keep an eye on the Missions page so you can keep track of which Missions provide the best XP bonuses.

Another bonus to missions is that you can receive +8 Energy Packs from your friends as gifts. You can only receive ten gifts per day, but if you get ten Energy Packs per day, that’s a bonus of 80 energy, netting you around 800 bonus XP per day. That’s nothing to sneeze at.

Check out my other guide if you’re needing help growing your mob to get more friends. Don’t forget to send out as many Energy Pack gifts as you can each day, so that they’ll return the favor.

Lastly, if you’re into using your R2 points for refills, using them on energy is the most beneficial for gaining XP.

Kill Them All…

Fighting is the second best way to get XP in the game, especially if you kill your opponent. Always try to kill your opponent, since you make about double XP on a killing shot. Invest in the best weapon you can afford, and avoid opponents that defend or dodge your attacks a lot. Aim toward evenly or higher leveled opponents that don’t have good gear, as these will net you the most XP per hit and per kill.

Try to avoid “revenge” kills (fighting directly from the notification of being killed, or the gamefeed), unless you’re going back to the location to do the fighting. Sure, you still get XP from fighting people directly, but you get a lot more benefit from fighting at the location, since fighting is one of the best ways to get location points.
