In Lego Pirates of the Caribbean, similar to previous versions, bolts are you primary currency in the game. You can purchase red hats (aka cheats) and purchase characters. You’re going to need a lot of bolts however if you plan to get 100% game completion, so what is the easiest method to get bolts?
The easiest way by far to get bolts in the game is to simply purchase the Score x2 red hat right off the bat. This alone will double the bolts you receive, making True Pirate a breeze on most levels.
Score x4 requires the use of Blackbeard which costs 500k bolts, so next you’ll probably want to go straight for the Score x6 red hat. Once you have Score x6, bolts will pretty much be a non issue, and you’ll be well on your way to purchase everything you want in the game.
