There are four types of honor ribbons that can be earned in League of Legends, and they all rely on other people to get them.
Here is the list of the honor ribbons you can earn, Â and how you can influence your teammates and opponents to give you honor.
Honorable Opponent Ribbon
To get the honorable opponent ribbon, your opponents have to honor you. When they honor you this is the only option they have. You can get this by playing honorably and giving the GG at the end and not belittling your opponents. Early GG’s and calling them noobs are ways to NOT get honored.
Teamwork Ribbon
To get this ribbon, you want to make sure you are giving advice and not calling out all of the mistakes your allies make. Giving good calls on movements and strategy might impress your allies enough to give you the teamwork honor.
Friendly Ribbon
This ribbon is pretty self explanatory. If you are friendly and help the team during champ select by not just insta-locking your mid pick and doing support because you are last pick are a couple of ways to help influence your teammates to give you a friendly honor. Be nice, be helpful, be friendly and you’ll naturally get some of these.
Leadership Ribbon
This is done by making perfect strategy calls, helping during team select with counter-picks and picking roles that people are comfortable with. Lead your team to victory by being knowledgeable and not bossy will help you get this ribbon as well.
One thing to remember about these honor ribbons is that they rely on other people as much as you to get them. You can be the perfect player and play spotless and not get honored. Don’t be discouraged by this. Keep playing this way and you will get your ribbons in time.
