Rockstar disabled the ability to purchase Cash Packs (their version of micro-transactions) when they began to have issues with Grand Theft Auto Online.
However the info was up long enough on their site to get an idea of the exchange rate, and how much it will cost to purchase the online currency.
The only site I could find referencing prices however is listed in Euros, so I had to do some basic converting. These won’t be exact prices, but this should give you a ballpark figure for what to expect.
Red Shark Cash Card – $100,000 for around $3.20 USD ($31,250 per $1 USD)
Tiger Shark Cash Card – $200,000 for around $5.60 ($35,587 per $1 USD)
Bull Shark Cash Card – $500,000 for around $11.25 ($44,444 per $1 USD)
Great White Shark Cash Card – $1,250,000 for around $21.72 ($57,550 per $1 USD)
As you can see, the exchange rate sky rockets with the higher amounts you purchase, enticing you to buy more at once.
