In Dragon Age 2 for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, there is a glitch in the game that allows you to get an unlimited amount of ability points to spend on your character.
To do this glitch, you need access to The Black Emporium downloadable content, since that’s the only way to purchase Makers Sigh potions. Makers Sigh potions dump your ability points and let you spend them again on other abilities.
Make sure you have all of your current points assigned to abilities. Use a Makers Sigh potion, and immediately save your game then restart and load your saved game. You’ll notice that some of your abilities are still assigned, but you have all of your ability points to spend as well. You can keep repeating this glitch until you have as many ability points as you want.
It’s important to note that this may (and probably will be) patched in the future, so if you want to continue using this glitch you may want to avoid doing any game updates.
