In Dragon Age 2 for the Xbox 360 and PS3, there is a really easy way to duplicate practically any item in the game.
Save your game first, because this may take some practice. Place the item you want to duplicate into your junk completely by itself. Go to a merchant and select your junk tab. Hit the Y button (Triangle on PS3) on the item to sell it, followed immediately by the A button (X on PS3).
If you did this fast enough, your item should have sold twice. Keep doing this to duplicate items, and make a lot of gold in the mean time.
This may be (and most likely will be) patched in the future, so avoid installing any game updates if you want to continue using this glitch.
