The Ghost and Ghost Pro perks are some of the more popular perks in Call of Duty: Black Ops for the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, and PC.
It’s easy to like, since it keeps you off of the enemy radar when spy planes are being used, which is pretty much constantly in most matches.
Ghost Pro is even better since it hides you from Helicopters, Sentry Guns, IR Scopes, and not to mention it removes the red name from above your head making it harder for you to spot. Be cautious when Blackbirds are in the air though, because it does not hide you from them.
Don’t forget that you have to purchase the Ghost Pro perk upgrade after it’s unlocked for 3,000 credits.
Here are the challenges for the Ghost Pro perk, and some tips to help you complete them effectively:
Concealed Kills — Kill 20 enemies while they have a Spy Plane or Blackbird active
This one is fairly simple and self explanatory. It can take a little while, since most people destroy spy planes fairly quickly, but just keep at it and you’ll get it without much effort.
Destroy Aircraft — Destroy 30 aircraft with any non-Killstreak launcher
This one is fairly easy as well. Every destructible aircraft counts toward this, so destroy every spy plane that’s announced. You can destroy the Chinooks that carry in care packages as well if you’re quick. I suggest using the Strela-3 for this one since it has two rockets instead of one, allowing you to destroy more aircraft with each life.
Destroy Sentry Gun — Destroy 1 Sentry Gun
This one is the killer, and can take you some time. It may sound easy, but the problem is that a lot of people simply don’t use Sentry Guns. If you happen to see one, it can either kill you quickly if you don’t notice it soon enough, or your teammate might get to it first. If you hear one being called in, hunt it down and try to follow the carrier. Wait for them to deploy it, kill them quickly, and knife the Sentry Gun for the quick kill.
An alternate method that I’ve seen suggested is to set the Sentry Gun as a killstreak reward of your own. If you happen to get it, set it to be called in near an enemy spawn point then hide and wait for it to be stolen. Follow the thief, wait for them to set it up, then kill them quickly and knife the Sentry Gun to destroy it.
I had difficulty with both of these methods, and ended up just getting lucky. The enemy had placed one near the doorway on Summit. It killed me a few times, but luckily it was still there after I spawned nearby and I just chucked a sticky at it to destroy it after shooting it a few times during my previous attempts. This one can be very frustrating, so be patient and keep trying.
