In Assassin’s Creed 3, you can disarm your enemies, leaving them without a weapon and you with an advantage.
There are missions as well where you are sent to disarm people without killing them. So how do you disarm?
To disarm an enemy, wait for them to strike at you and press B on Xbox 360 or Circle on PS3 to parry the attack. Immediately after the parry, press A on Xbox 360 or X on PS3 to disarm them.
In order to get full credit for a disarm in most mission objectives, you have to steal their weapon, and in order to do that you have to be completely unarmed. The mission objectives aren’t extremely clear on having to be unarmed.
