There is a brand new class available in Borderlands 2 for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 called the Mechromancer. She’s a female named Gaige, and she’s kind a half human, half cyborg that can deploy a robot named Death Trap that can act as her personal “tank” or damage sponge if you’re not familiar with the MMO terminology.
The Mechromancer named Gaige won’t be available immediately however, she will be released on October 16th as a DLC download. If you pre-ordered the game, you will have free access to this DLC through the Borderlands 2 Premiere Club, so make sure you register for that if you pre-ordered the game.
If you didn’t pre-order the game, the DLC will cost you around ten bucks, or 800 Microsoft points on the Xbox 360.
