Mortal Kombat 9 - Fatalities, Babalities, Stage Fatalities, Finishers & More

Mortal Kombat 9 (2011): Fatalities and Babalities List for Xbox 360

Each character in Mortal Kombat 9 (2011 version) has multiple regular fatalities, one babality, and a stage fatality (on certain stages) that they can perform at the end of the round if they win.

This guide is for the Xbox 360 version of the game, so check out my other guide for the Mortal Kombat fatalities and babalities list for PS3.

You can unlock all of these finishing moves (with the exception of the DLC required ones) by performing them in Arcade or Versus mode. I unlocked most of them in versus mode, because obviously it’s a lot easier.

Technically you don’t even need to purchase the fatalities from the Krypt, because they will be added to your moves list automatically when you perform them.

Note that Babalities can only be performed if you did not block any attacks in the final winning round. You can hit the block button, you just can’t block an incoming attack.

The Stage Fatalities listed below can only be performed on the following stages:

  • Hell
  • Subway
  • The Dead Pool
  • The Living Forest
  • The Pit Day
  • The Pit Night
  • The Street

  8. Thanks says

Thanks for updating this list with Skarlet, I’ll be back when Kenshi and Rain are released. This is the best printable MK Fatality list I could find.

      • Thomas says

I Really Appreciate this list that you compiled. Everything on here works Flawlessly!! Some of these poeple are a bunch of Idiots and don’t appreciate anything… Thanks again Dizle!! (You can never please all the people all the time), but I’m Very pleased! Great Work!!

  9. Hunter says

babalities are straight up bullshit they dont work do you have to be in fatality mode or game mode if in game mode how do you do it

    • says

They work, and they can not be performed in the fatality practice. In order to do them you can’t block in the winning round, which is probably why you’re having problems.

  10. lil NIGGY says

There is a mistake in kang laos fatality razors edge it said sweep but trust me its touching try it ur self

  11. Sub Zero master says

I heard you could download the spine rip fatality via DLC code. You do NOT need the Klassic Kostume

  12. fenixdown87 says

Whenever I play a 2 player game on the xbox 360 only player 1 can use the unlocked fatalities, how do I fix it so player 2 can also use the unlocked fatalities

    • says

I’m guessing it’s because you’re signing in with a different profile on the second controller, so you can’t see them. You may try to sign in as an xbox live guest, though i’m not sure if that will work. If anything, just play in arcade mode and perform the fatalities to “unlock” them to the moves list for that profile. They do not have to be purchased to perform, so there’s no reason that you can’t do them, unless the second controller us using a different button layout making the moves different on that controller.

      • fenixdown87 says

Ok thanks, so if they just preform it, then it’ll work it doesn’t need to be unlocked? The krypt just makes it show up on the move list

        • justaguest says

Its easier to unlock all fatalities and babalities by just performing them in training mode/ fatality tutorial…

    • sub zero says

they have to have a profile.. it dont have to be xboxlive but they have to be signed in. they allso have to have it unlocked.

  13. scorpandnooby says

Yeaa you need to do babealities during fight mode not fatality mode… Scorpian is sickk and noob is good if you use him right..tackling moove is nice…raiden has a strong xray damage

    • Sub Zero master says

I play with my sister and I always tackle her with that tackling move. I love that move!!!

  14. Limor says

a question to anyone, when you do babalities, (I did not block the whole last round) do you have to do it on the same character… like if your scorpion, do u have to fight scropion to do his bablity? or is the code is to be used on scorpion?

  15. TOASTY says

SOME FATALITIES ARE WRONG LIKE SHANG TSUNGS BABALITY FOR EXAMPLE AND SOME HAVE EXTRA DIRECTIONS ADDED WHEN THEY ARENT NEEDED TO COMPLETE THE MOVE

    • says

They’re only downloadable with a code you would have received from the preorder promo. There is no word if they’ll be available later via purchase or not, but I would think so.

  16. Ryo says

Does any one know what Ermac’s classic fatality was. They list Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Reptile’s but not Ermac. If they do they don’t say witch one it is for the Classic outfit you have to have.

  17. zZz sRv zZz says

hold block for the directions then release just in time for the button, trust me it works, i do it all the time

  18. Magnus330 says

I’ ve spent the last 24 hours trying to do a babality on the PS3, but have been unsuccessful. Is there a way to unlock them? I’ ve heard everything from “they’re unlockable through tower challenges” to “just put in the code”. However none of this works. God please help!

    • says

You do not have to unlock them, I have personally verified this for several characters. It will add to your moves list when you successfully perform the move. They all say “jumping distance”, but you have to be about 1/2 to 2/3 of the screen away typically in order to do them. They can be done in Arcade and Versus modes, but they can’t be done in the Fatality tutorial. I suggest using a second controller for Versus, and just beat on them until you can try it a few times. Distance is key though.

  19. Sam says

Oh, and for the record, the Xbox 360 D-Pad on the older controllers sucks, making fatalities that much harder. Where I can do fatalities pretty easy on the PS3 version, on the 360 version I almost need the arcade stick plugged in to do some of them. The analog stick on the 360 is also not all that conducive to doing fatalities.

I like the 360 controller for most game genres, but fighting games is not one of them. I also hate the PS3 controller for most game genres, but it is excellent for fighters.

    • bodi says

xbox has released a new controller with a way to change the d-pad bought it for cheaper than a normal one great for fighting games.

  20. Sam says

@DR. pimp&stine hold block then let go of block before you hit the square (PS3) or X (360) button. It works. I’ve been doing it since the MK demo on the PS3, and have done it in the retail versions of the PS3 and 360 versions multiple times, each. The game will even tell you in the Fatality Trainer mode to hold block to not move/jump for certain people’s fatalities (those with up or F,F or B,B commands since they will jump or dash otherwise).

  21. AreXi says

Hold block only when you dial the directional buttons (Forward, Up, Up) then release block and press the last button (X).

  22. Madbazza says

Looking for the MK 1 scorpion and Sub Zero costumes, but when I go to downloadable content, Im just told there is none available.

  23. DR. pimp&stine says

impossible he jumps every time i”m lighting fast with
it. Oh well thanks i reallly hope they add more to this game and i don’t to pay extra for it but dout it

  24. DR. pimp&stine says

that was fast yeah i held block i’ve done all the fatals easy too. Block never works thow they lie well not on xbox

  25. DR. pimp&stine says

YEah one button fatalities were the bomb & their were 6 of them per person & that was 16 years ago. I expected alot more for the $60 highway robbery i payed but the story mode gets really good & links the games in a neet way. ANd then leave you hangin for a sequel dammit… Scorpion’s
stage fatal don’t work up, up & i jump gay! do i have to unlock that BS too??
    Mr.nhoyt@yahoo.com

    • says

No, it works, you just have to do it very quickly. Some claim that you can hold block so that he doesn’t jump, but I haven’t tried this yet. When I did it, I tapped up twice quickly enough that he didn’t jump at all.

  26. DHoey says

Thanks! I’ve been trying to learn how to do babalities since the day it came out.

Is there a code though? And if there is, how do you get them?

  27. D Smith says

I am wondering if this MK game has a one button fatality code for the X-box 360. In MK4 for the Playstation I remember that they had such a code making fatalities very easy. Thanks.

  28. scott says

where are ppl finding the codes to these babalities? i preordered the hard cover mk guide and nowhere did it list those. i have the codes for both fatalities and stages but is it unlocked via tower challenges? ive looked them all up and did them but i cant do kabals for the life of me. ive seen it written the same way on tonsa of site but cant pull it off. can any1 confirm whether the code d,f,d,triangle/y is the correct code?

  29. Scorpion says

I just want to point out that so long as you have the Toasty fatality unlocked, you do NOT need to be wearing the MK1 outfit to use it.
