In Xenoblade Chronicles for the Wii, having a high group affinity is vital for performing better in battles, and primarily performing chain attacks. So how do you raise your party affinity?
Here are several of the ways to increase the affinity of your group:
Help Them – The more you help your group members, the more affinity you’ll gain. Encourage them, unstun them, raise them when they’re down, all of these will raise your affinity. You can farm affinity by fighting harder enemies where your group will need more help, or fighting enemies that stun a lot, so you’ll have to unstun them often.
Do Side Quests – If you have a party member with low affinity, have them join your party and run around doing side quests. Your party members will chat during dialogue, increasing their affinity over time.
Affinity Bursts – Equip armor, weapons, and gems with high agility to increase your crit and doge rate. The more you crit and dodge, the more chance you’ll have of getting affinity bursts.
