For the past few days, my Nintendo Wii cursor has been jumping around the screen. We had no idea why it suddenly started doing this. Then I realized it’s been happening ever since we put up our Christmas tree. The tree has tons of lights. I shut the lights off, and wouldn’t you know the problem was resolved.
If you have light sources around the sensor bar, it can affect the communication between the Wii and Wii-mote. The solution is to turn the lights off or move the sensor bar to a place with less light.
