Hacking in Watch Dogs is basically your bread and butter skill. You have access to just about anything you could imagine with the hacking system.
The entire city of chicago is connected by a system named ctOS, giving you access to security cameras, traffic signals, machinery, personal devices. just about anything.
In order to start hacking in Watch Dogs, you need to first gain access to the Territorial Control Centers of each district of Chicago. It’s similar to the view points in Assassin’s Creed (who hasn’t played that right?)
You must go to each control center and break in to install a backdoor virus. Once you’ve done this, you’ll have access to everything connected to ctOS in that district.
With your backdoor virus installed, you’ll be able to access nearby systems with your smart phone. Control cameras, listen in on phone calls, intercept text messages, put up traffic barriers after you drive over them, the possibilities are nearly endless.
