In Red Dead Redemption for PS3 and Xbox 360, there are quite a few outfits you can unlock for various different things.. or just for looks. The Treasure Hunter Outfit is one of the first gang outfits available to unlock since everything necessary is acquired in New Austin.
Treasure Hunter Gang Outfit – Makes you friendly with the Treasure Hunter Gang unless you attack one of them.
Prerequisites: Kill a Treasure Hunter gang member (this unlocks the outfit page, allowing you to collect the items below)
Scrap 1: In a chest in an abandoned house in Silent Stead (which is located Southwest of Rathskeller Fork)
Scrap 2: Complete the California Stranger’s task
Scrap 3: Make a profit playing blackjack at Rathskeller Fork
Scrap 4: Return a Treasure Hunter bounty alive
Scrap 5: Complete the Gaptooth Breach Hideout
Scrap 6: Purchased from the tailor in Thieves’ Landing
