In The Sims Medeival, your sims have thought bubbles over their head to let you know what they want or need at the time. If you would rather disable the thought bubbles though, do the following:
Hit Ctrl+Shift+C to open up the console at the top of the screen. Type in hideHeadlineEffects on and hit enter. To reverse this, simply open the console again and type hideHeadlineEffects off and hit enter.
