In The Sims 3 for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad, there is a hidden cheat you can use to get an unlimited amount of Simoleons.
Pause the game and select Help & About. From here select Gardening Tips. Once the Gardening Tips information pops up, shake the device to get 500 simoleons.
This works twice in a row. To keep getting more free simoleons, exit and repeat these steps as many times as you want.
