In The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, Vlindrel Hall is the house you’ll be able to purchase in Markarth once you gain enough favor with the Jarl there, and costs 8,000 gold.
There are a couple different ways to purchase Vlindrel Hall. The initial way is to do the quest line for the first Jarl there, Ingmund.
Alternatively, if you side with the Stormcloaks, Ingmund will be replaced with a new Jarl, requiring you to only help a few people in town. If you have speech up to level 70 and the Investment perk, you’ll be able to accomplish this easily by investing in a few shops around town. Either way, the house costs 8000 gold to purchase, and you apparently need to be at least level 20 in order to purchase it.
