It wouldn’t be a Super Smash Bros. game without some hidden characters to unlock, so naturally the latest edition on the Wii U is no exception.
There are eleven hidden characters to unlock in Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U, most of which can be earned in two different ways (which is kind of nice).
Here are the hidden characters and pokemon, and how to unlock them.
Dark Pit – Either play 40 Smash matches, or complete All-Star mode on 4.0 intensity or higher
Dr. Mario – Either play 50 Smash matches, or defeat one Master Order on Hard difficulty
Duck Hunt – Either play 100 Smash matches, or get a KO in Cruel Smash mode
Falco – Either play 10 Smash matches, or complete Classic mode
Lucina – Either play 30 Smash matches, or complete Classic mode on 5.5 intensity or higher
Meloetta (Pokemon) – Clear Solo All-Star on normal difficulty or higher while playing as Lucario
Mr. Game & Watch – Either play 80 Smash matches, or complete Classic mode with five characters
R.O.B. – Either play 60 Smash matches, or defeat Crazy Hand after completing ten matches in Crazy Orders
Victini (Pokemon) – Complete All-Star mode
Wario – Either play 20 Smash matches, or complete the 100-Man Smash
Xerneas (Pokemon) – Play alone as Pikachu and destroy 200 blocks in a single game of Trophy Rush
