In Soul Calibur 5 for the PS3 and Xbox 360, there is a lot of equipment to unlock for use in character creation. You are given a lot by default, but how do you unlock the rest of it?
Unlocking equipment for character creation is done entirely by increasing your player level. Various different levels give you small groups of equipment, but you don’t necessarily get equipment at every level either.
Every game mode you play gives you experience points for fights. The better you do, the more experience points you get.
