Here is the complete list of characters in Soul Calibur 5 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. There are a lot of new and returning faces in this version of the game.
Returning Characters
Aeon Calcos – Aka Lizardman, he’s a man who was cursed into a reptilian form and wields dual axes.
Algol – The Ancient Hero King. He was forced to destroy his own son, Arcturus, because he was possessed by the demonic sword Soul Edge. This caused him to create the holy sword Soul Calibur from a shard of Soul Edge. He uses miniaturized versions of Soul Calibur and Soul Edge in place of his hands, and a cannon that shoots black and violet balls of energy.
Astaroth – A younger and more powerful version of the original Astaroth, a golem created by Kunpaetku. He wields a giant axe.
Cervantes de Leon – An immortal sea pirate, wields a broadsword and a gun-sword.
Dampierre – A con-artist wielding hidden daggers. Currenlty only available as a pre-order bonus, but will eventually be available as purchasable DLC.
Edge Master – An old man with an mysterious past, he has mastered all of the weapons in the world. He fights using the styles of all other characters in the game.
Heishiro Mitsurugi – One of the original Soul Calibur characters. He wields a katana.
Hildegard von Krone – The princess of the kingdom of Wolfkrone and travels with Siegfried’s mercenary band, the Schwarzwind. She wields a short sword and a spear.
Isabella “Ivy” Valentine – The apparently ageless, trash talking, large breasted vixen of the series. She wields her unique snake sword that she invented.
Kilik – Former student of Edge Master and the possible current Edge Master. He fights using any of the male styles.
Maxi – A sea-faring pirate with a shard of Soul Edge in his body that apparently slows down the aging process. He uses nunchaku as weapons.
Nightmare – Still the main antagonist of the series, the living incarnation of Soul Edge.
Raphael Sorel – French nobleman fencer on a journey to find his lost daughter Amy. He uses a sword-rapier.
Siegfried Schtauffen – The former protagonist of the series, who once wielded Soul Calibur. He now wields a large two handed zweihander sword.
Tira – The apparently ageless servant to Soul Edge, Tira is an assassin with dual personalities who fights with a Ring Blade using acrobatic attacks.
Voldo – A strange blind and mute man with a unique fighting style. Wields matching tri-bladed katars.
Yoshimitsu – Long standing Soul Calibur and Tekken character behind a rogue-ish mask. He wields a katana and a sashimono.
New Characters
Alpha Patroklos – A stronger form of Patroklos that wields Soul Calibur. His style is similar to Setsuka.
Elysium – An angelic looking woman looks similar to Sophitia. She fights using any of the female styles.
Natsu – Disciple of Taki, and wields two kodachi similar to Taki.
Patroklos Alexander – The main protagonist of Soulcalibur V. The son of Sophitia and Rothion, brother to Pyrrha, and the nephew of Cassandra. Wields a holy sword and shield.
Pyrrha Alexandra – The daughter of Sophitia and Rothion, brother to Patroklos, and the niece of Cassandra. Wields her mother’s Omega Sword and Elk Shield.
Pyrrha Omega – A stronger, possessed variation of Pyrrha. She wields Soul Edge and uses a style similar to Sophitia.
Viola – Suffers from amnesia and does not remember her past, and is currently working with Z.W.E.I. She uses a floating magic orb as her weapon.
Xiba – Young adventurer and food lover. Wields a staff, and is the successor of Kilik.
Yan Leixia – A fifteen year old girl wielding a chinese sword. She is the daughter of the former Soul Calibur wielder, Xianghua.
Z.W.E.I. – Uses a sword with three handles, and can summon a werewolf-like creature called E.I.N. for certain attacks.
Guest Characters
Ezio Auditore da Firenze – The main protagonist from the Assassin’s Creed series. He uses five weapons in all: hidden daggers, swords, a crossbow, a dagger, and a hidden gun.
Soul of Devil Jin – From the Tekken Series, only available as a fighting style for Character Creation. His form appears on a character named Harada in Quick Battle and Legendary Mode.
