In Sonic Colors for the Wii, you can unlock Super Sonic to play with.
To unlock Super Sonic, you need to first collect all 180 red rings. Once you do that, clear all Sonic Simulator games. After that you’ll notice that the Options selection on the Main Menu is now glowing.
Go to Options and you can turn on Super Sonic from there once he’s unlocked.
