Some creative players in GTA Online had found a way to sell vehicles multiple times using a glitch, allowing them to literally rack up millions of dollars per hour.
That’s a lot of money, considering most missions only give you a few thousand, and even Survival Mode only nets you $20k for surviving wave ten (which takes about 20 to 30 minutes most runs).
The glitch basically just interrupted the selling mechanic by pausing the game and going to the in game marketplace where cash cards will be sold. Upgrade the vehicle enough to be worth just under $50k, done repeatedly and you can see that there was a potential to make some serious cash.
Unfortunately for you glitchers out there (you know who you are), Rockstar finally got wise and fixed this glitch in the latest Title Update.
There has been a large amount of speculation lately that Rockstar was banning players abusing these glitches, however there has been no solid evidence of this. No screenshots, nothing on the Rockstar Support site.. nothing at all really.
I would imagine that the most they would do would be to reset individual characters that received ridiculous amounts of money in a small time frame (nothing in the game allows you to get millions per hour), but not ban players.
The primary argument I’ve seen from the players abusing this glitch to such large extent is that Rockstar makes it so hard to make money, and that they just want to sell their cash packs.
I suppose they are simply trying to justify their actions. In my opinion, if you don’t like the way the game is setup, you have the option of not playing, plain and simple.
Rules are meant to be broken however, and I’m sure someone will find another glitch to exploit.. and subsequently post it on Youtube so that Rockstar can find it quickly and fix it.
What do you think about using these glitches in GTA Online to fake your way to riches?
