In the Road Warrior game for Android & iOS systems (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, etc.), the Pillager is easily the best car in the game. It’s not the most expensive car, the Behemoth takes that crown, but it still costs 4,000 MP, plus the MP costs of all of the cars before it.
So the ultimate question is, do I just purchase the MP for it, or do I take forever getting enough free MP to unlock it?
Well, the method I used was a bit of both, and it ended up only costing me about $11 and a few hours of time when all was said and done. That’s a lot less than the $74.99 price tag of the Premium Pack.
How to Unlock the Pillager, the Cheap Way!
The very first thing I did was purchase the double money pack. This isn’t absolutely necessary, but it does help you get money a lot faster for upgrades and vehicle purchases. Go to the Garage and hit the green Add button at the top. This is the screen where you typically exchange MP for money, but the bottom option is the one you want, which doubles your money earned in all races. This costs 99 cents.
Next, play a lot of single player races to get money and use the methods in my other article to get as much free MP as you can. Watch the promotional videos as often as possible, and download the free apps to get MP. This will (slowly) help you unlock each car in order.
Once you have unlocked and purchased the Outlaw, you should have a lot of extra money, and it would suck to try to earn another 4,000 MP. This is when I purchased 4,000 MP for $9.99 and got my Pillager.
So after all is said and done, it took me a few hours of extra time of watching videos and downloading apps and games, and $10.98 to to unlock the Pillager. Not too shabby if I must say so.
