In Minecraft, the Crafting Table (aka Workbench) is one of the most important things you can create in the game, since it allows you to make most of the other tools that exist.
Making a Crafting Table is rather easy. All you need to do is gather a single piece of wood of any type. If you’re new to the game, you gather items by clicking and holding down the left mouse button to make your character punch repeatedly until an item breaks. Once it breaks, it will show small blocks on the ground that you can pick up by walking near them.
Once you have your wood, click the E button to open your inventory, and place the piece of wood into your crafting section to get four pieces of Wooden Plank.
Place these four Wooden Planks back into your crafting section one at a time into each of the four spaces, and you’ll create the Crafting Table.
Once you have a crafting table in your inventory, put it into your hotbar, select it and right click on a ground spot to place it. It’s usually best to place it in your home. Once it’s placed, right click on it to use it.
You can destroy it at any time to pick it back up again and place it into your inventory.
Tip: If you don’t know how to separate a stack, you just need to right click on a stack and it will put half of the stack onto your pointer. Keep doing this until you get your single items from the stack.
