Injustice: Gods Among Us is the latest fighting game to be announced, being made by the creators of the latest Mortal Kombat game.
Everything I’ve seen on this game is good so far. It’s also not a carbon copy of Mortal Kombat either, it actually has features from several different games.
It has environment interactivity somewhat similar to Dead or Alive, where you get knocked into various different levels of a map. It also seems to have Ultra and Super type moves similar to the Street Fighter series, which Mortal Kombat had something similar.
It doesn’t seem to have finishing moves however, but it does have very elaborate specials that are more reminiscent of the elaborate finishers of Mortal Kombat.
Injustice: Gods Among us is slated for release April 16th, 2013 on the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
