In Ghost Recon: Future Soldier for the PS3 and Xbox 360, you can perform a type of dodge roll that will let you roll either left or right.
In order to roll, you just need to hold the B button on Xbox 360, or the Circle button on PS3, and press and hold left or right to roll in that direction.
You will end up on the ground in the prone position facing the same direction you were previously. You can do a ground roll from by double tapping left or right to roll in either direction.
