In DragonVale for the Android and iOS systems (iPhone and iPad, etc.), the Garnet Dragon is the ninth Gemstone Dragon to be introduced in the game, representing the month of January. Being a Gemstone dragon, it earns gems instead of gold and can not mate at all.
The Garnet Dragon has a base breeding time of 31 hours, sells for 1,500,000 gold, and earns 1,500,000 XP upon successful breeding at level 14.
To get a Garnet Dragon, you need to breed a Smoke dragon with an Obsidian Dragon during the month of January. If you get an egg with a 31 hour incubation time then you should be on the money.
