In Diablo 3, I’m sure you’ve seen some videos of bad ass players sporting wings on their toons.
You’ve never seen anything like that drop, so how on earth do you get wings like that?
Well, there are a couple different ways to get wings in Diablo 3, but you may not be happy with my answer.
The only wings I know of in the game came from five different sources:
- Pre-order Diablo 3 at launch
- Pre-order the Reaper of Souls expansion
- Pre-order Warlords of Draenor for WoW
- Pre-order Wings of the Swarm for SC2
- Diablo 3 Collectors Edition
Basically, any time a Blizzard expansion has come out recently, it includes a set of wings for your D3 characters.
All pre-orders to date have come with limited windows to redeem the wings, that way you can’t hoard them and sell them on ebay for high prices.
The only one I know of that doesn’t have any kind of time limit is the Diablo 3 Collectors Edition, which comes with the Wings of Valor. As far as I know, if you want to shell out the money for this rare version of the game, this is the only way to get a set of wings for your characters outside of the expansion windows.
If you don’t mind spending a couple hundred bucks to get a set of wings, you can find people selling the Diablo 3 Collectors Edition on Ebay. Make sure that what you’re purchasing comes with the code however, or else you’re not going to get your wings with it.
