In Diablo 3 for the PC, there are followers that will fight with you and defend you if you wish.
There are three main followers in the game, and you can only have one follow you at a time.
Kormac the Templar – The first follower you come across at the Cathedral in Act I, Kormac is similar to a Paladin. He has some tanking abilities, as well as some healing and crowd control abilities. He’s a great follower for the ranged classes in the game.
Lyndon the Scoundrel – The second follower you come across at The Old Mill in Act I, Lyndon is a shady character that only uses ranged weapons. He has access to several crowd control abilities, and has decent dps abilities as well. Better suited as a follower for melee characters.
Eirena the Enchantress – The third follower you come across, Eirena is a ranged mage character. She has several buffs, crowd control, and dps abilities. She’s kind of a “jack of all trades”, and is likely a good follower for most classes.
