There is a way to duplicate magazines in Dead Rising 2 for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC by exploiting the coop save system.
First, you’ll need to do this with a friend that is willing to help you, and it’s probably best if you can communicate with them somehow.
Have your friend collect the magazines you want duplicates of, and then save their game. Once the game is saved, have them request to join a coop game with you. Once they have joined, have them drop the magazines so you can pick them up, and have them exit out of the game without saving, so that they keep the magazines themselves.
Keep doing this as many times as you want, since you can have any number of duplicates of a magazine, and each copy stacks on the next even if it’s the same exact magazine.
Using this method, you can get incredible amounts of money with Gambling magazines, the pawn shops will actually pay you for items you purchase if you have 12 copies of the Bargaining magazines, the vehicles will be practically indestructible with twelve copies of the Driving magazines, etc.
