In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for the PC, PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360, you’ll notice that the Lethal Equipment to choose from is pretty familiar.
As in Modern Warfare 2, you can only have one Lethal Equipment chosen at a time, making you sacrifice your frag grenade if you choose to use other Lethals like Claymores. This is one feature that I wish they would have taken from Black Ops, the ability to have other Lethal Equipment along with grenades.
Here is the Lethal equipment in the game, and what level you need to reach to unlock it.
Frag – (Unlocked by default) Cookable frag grenade
Semtex – (Unlocked by default) Timed sticky grenade
Throwing Knife – (Unlocked at level 5) Throwable knife that can be picked up and used again
Bouncing Betty – (Unlocked at level 37) Proximity grenades that explode in a 360 degree radius
Claymore – (Unlocked at level 53) Proximity mines that blast in one direction
C4 – (Unlocked at level 69) Plastic explosive that can be remotely triggered
