In Battlefield 3 for the Xbox 360, each type of vehicle you use has several upgrades you can unlock by getting points with them.
Note that it doesn’t matter which side you’re on, the points for that vehicle type will apply to that vehicle type no matter which side you’re on when using the vehicle.
