In Assassin’s Creed 3, you can tackle people to the ground to stun them momentarily.
To tackle, you need to sprint toward the person and when you’re close to them press and hold B on the Xbox 360, or Circle on the PS3.
The tackle will essentially look like a shoulder charge, and you’ll both fall to the ground with you landing on top of them.
To tackle from above, you use the same button but just jump down from somewhere instead.
