In The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, part of the main quest line is to get to High Hrothgar to get Shout training by the Grey Beards, and to prove that you are Dragonborn.
High Hrothgar is located at the very top of the large mountain in the middle of the map. There is only one real route up the mountain, and it’s from the east side of the mountain in the town of Ivarstead. Speaking to people in the town, they’ll talk about the “seven thousand steps”, which is the path up the mountain to High Hrothgar.
There are typically several Ice Wraiths on the way up the path, as well as some Ice Trolls, so come prepared for the journey.
