In DragonVale, Treasure Dragons are essentially rare metal dragons that are worth a ton of coins if you choose to sell them.
It used to be that you would always get one of the parents if bred two Treasure Dragons together, but that is no longer the case unfortunately.

DragonVale Treasure Dragon Breeding
Bronze Dragon – Breed dragons containing Earth and Metal elements.
Silver Dragon – Breed dragons containing Cold and Metal elements.
Gold Dragon – Breed dragons containing Fire and Metal elements.
Platinum Dragon – Breed dragons containing Water and Metal elements.
Electrum Dragon – Breed dragons containing Lightning and Metal elements.
