Q: Is Shaymin able to be caught by regular methods in Pokemon Platinum?
A: Unfortunately no, Shaymin can only be caught a couple of ways.
The first method is by attending an official Nintendo event, either by WiFi, or by going to an actual event where you can get special pokemon via wireless access points.
The event for Shaymin gives you an item called Oak’s Letter, which will allow you access to Flower Paradise where Shaymin is.
The only other method to catch Shaymin is to use the Action Replay system to catch him via cheating.
Alternatively you can trade him from the Diamond/Pearl versions, but I have heard rumors that both the Action Replay method and the trading method will keep him from being able to use his Sky form, which is only usable from the official event version.

I have every reigi and I got all mine from a trade.
If anyone that wants an legendary egg like for example an reshriam.Step 1:Have a legendary pokemon with you.Step 2:have a ditto also.Step 3:put them in the daycare.Step 5:The main and hardest part is to keep them in the daycare for FIVE days WITH your ds or dsi open the whole five days.you can catch ditto at the giant chasm and today is my third day and my dsi hasnt been even closed for 3 days.Hope this helped you pokemon fans:D.
I have pokemon white version and I really want shaymin,arceus,deoxys,and darkrai.Is there aaannnnyyyy way of getting them by some kind of a glitch or tweaking glitch and the ones I have seen on youtube are fake.The main thing Im asking this question is becuase there was a guy on top of celistial tower (I think) he said that you can catch the other generation legendary pokemons.Hope you guys can help me:D.
to catch arceus, you need the azure flute, which was given away at an event, sadly. but if you do have the azure flute, you’ll need to go to the spear pillar and then play it. but first, you have to have encountered or caught either giratina, dialga, or palkia. when you play it, a staircase will come down and you can climb it. when you climb it, i would suggest saving before stepping onto the glass platform because the fight starts as soon as you step on there. i think it’s called the hall of origin, i’m not sure. hope this helped!

how do you catch arcias on pokemon platinum
To get the regis (and regigigas how ever you spell that) 1you must do the event thing to get regigigas( then you can randomly find the other regis OR 2 you migrate the 3 regis from ruby saphire or emerald then go to snowpoint temple to catch regigigis
if your trying to catch the regi’s (regirock,registeel,regice) you need Pokemon sapphire or ruby then catch the regis on either game (sapphire or ruby) then unlock pal park in platinum then migrate or transfer on Pokemon platinum

(For Pokemon Platnium) To Catch a rotom first you must go to the old masion go into the room with the tv and at 8:00 pm to 4:00 am he will be in the television set all you have to do is push “A” on it hope i helped.
