In Mortal Kombat (aka Mortal Kombat 9, 2011 version) for the PS3 and Xbox 360, each character has multiple fatalities that can be performed at the end of the match if you win with them.
Here is the list of Sub-Zero’s Fatalities, and how to perform them. All of these can be unlocked and added to your moves list by performing them in either Versus Mode or Arcade Mode, but only the second Fatality can be unlocked during the Fatality Tutorial.

Xbox 360
Have An Ice Day – Back, Forward, Down, Forward, B while in sweeping distance
Spinal Smash – Down, Back, Down, Forward, Y while in sweeping distance
Spine Rip – Forward, Down, Forward, Y when close to your opponent (requires Sub-Zero’s Classic costume from DLC to have access to this move)
Babality – Down, Back, Down, B in jumping distance
Stage Fatality – Forward, Down, Back, Y at close range
PS3
Have An Ice Day – Back, Forward, Down, Forward, Circle while in sweeping distance
Spinal Smash – Down, Back, Down, Forward, Triangle while in sweeping distance
Spine Rip – Forward, Down, Forward, Triangle when close to your opponent (requires Sub-Zero’s Classic costume from DLC to have access to this move)
Babality – Down, Back, Down, Circle in jumping distance
Stage Fatality – Forward, Down, Back, Triangle at close range

dlc means downloadable content you can download the classic outfits and 2 new characters on psn

i cant get the spine rip fatality to work all he does is freeze him or kick him in the chest! what am i doing wrong?

what does dlc mean how do i get spin rip
