Gran Turismo 5: Easy Money

In Gran Turismo 5 for the PS3, the best way to make money is to find the shortest races you can win rather easily to maximize the amount of money you can make.

Keep in mind that these aren’t necessarily a walk in the park. I assume that you’re fairly good at the game, and you have some of the best cars available for your level.

Level 11 and Up – In the Professional Series, do the Daytona Supercar Challenge. It’s a short track taking about two and a half minutes, netting you $17,300 if you get first place.

Level 17 and Up – In the Expert Series, do the High Speed Ring Turbo Challenge. It’s a short track taking about three and a half minutes, netting you $36,000 if you get first place.

Level 22 and Up – In the Extreme Series, do the Rome Circuit on the European Championship. It’s a medium length track taking about five minutes, netting you $83,000 if you get first place.

Level 23 and Up – In the Extreme Series, do the Super Speedway – Indy on the American Championship. It’s a medium length track taking about five minutes, netting you $98,000 if you get first place.

Guys, the best way (and easiest) is to not win at all. Here’s what you do:

You pick a race, any race, and then you pick the cheapest run-down piece of crap car you can find.

You do the race, end up last, and you will make more money and earn more xp than you would as number 1.

Why? Here is how it works:

Gran Turismo adds a bonus in prize money and experience points if your car is in a lower class than your opponents’ cars. The bigger the difference in horsepower, the better the bonus.

It is called the Performance Difference Adjustment

I myself drive a 2CV Type A ’54 on the Nûrberg track which earns me over 880.000 credits in 18 minutes. Whereas the “winner” wil net a mere 480.000

There’s no real racing and no stressing and it gives you the opportunity to get to know a track.

There might be some better combinations in races and cars but i leave that to you.

I got a Toyota 86 GT when I connected to PSN and got to A-spec level 2. You can play any Sunday Cup race in B-spec mode and the Toyota always wins. You get 5000 Credits for each 1st place so for example you can play it 10 times and win 10×5000=50000.

If you buy the Audi TTS (I think it costs about 60,000) and do the compact car seasonal race you can get about 400,000 cr per race and easy XP it’s easy to win because the Audi is so much better than the other cars

Hey guys, if you guys are wondering what i do for lots of money Listen to this. What i do is i go into seasonal events and find something (no time or drift trials) and race with a corvette zo6 fully tuned and that tripples your winnings if you come in first. For exaple when i was A spec level 10 i placed 1st in one clasic car championship race and won 3 million credits. Hows that for racing. Hope this comment helped you guys out!

Another car at lower levels that will give you a good edge in winning any of the races, super car series etc is the Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R 00. Build it fully, put good tires on it, its a beast.
