Call of Duty – Black Ops: Tips to Complete Marathon Pro Perk Challenges
The Marathon perk in Call of Duty: Black Ops for the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, and PC is a very popular perk simply because it helps you sprint longer. This is very helpful in most objective games, since you usually need to run as quickly as possible to various different spots to attack and defend.
Marathon Pro gives you the added benefit of having unlimited sprint. This kind of speaks for itself at how beneficial of an upgrade it is, even without any other benefits.
Don’t forget that you need to purchase the Marathon Pro perk upgrade after it’s unlocked for 3,000 COD points.

26 Miles — Sprint 26 miles using Marathon
Self explanatory.. run Forrest, run man!
Captures — In Capture the Flag, get the Flag Capture Medal 15 times while using Marathon
This one is the killer in my eyes. Beginners and average players alike will have trouble with this one, because capping a flag is no easy task, especially 15 times. I do have a few suggestions though. Use an SMG so you run at 100% speed, and use the Lightweight perk to make you run even faster. Alternatively, Ghost will help you get there undetected, but it won’t help you stay hidden while you’re running the flag. Doing this with some friends you can communicate with will help quite a bit.
First Blood — Get the First Blood Medal 10 times
You just need to get the first kill on a match ten times, so it will take a little bit of time. I like to do this one on Domination when the other team tries to rush the B Domination spot. Sprint there and aim at the flag, and you’ll probably see an enemy run out and try to cap it, so gun him down for the first kill.
