Assassin’s Creed 3: How to Tackle

In Assassin’s Creed 3, you can tackle people to the ground to stun them momentarily.

To tackle, you need to sprint toward the person and when you’re close to them press and hold B on the Xbox 360, or Circle on the PS3.

The tackle will essentially look like a shoulder charge, and you’ll both fall to the ground with you landing on top of them.

To tackle from above, you use the same button but just jump down from somewhere instead.

If anyone knows the button config on PC or Wii U, please leave me a comment with them.

If you’re playing Assassin’s Creed 3 Wii U version, to tackle someone you have to be in high profile (ZR), then hold ZL to target the person and then push A.

This killed me for a while on the PC. Lots of places have PS3 and XBOX360 keys, but no PC. For the PC, you need to hold the right mouse button and then press E when the person is targeted. I believe these are the default key bindings for these buttons. If not, right mouse is the one that makes you run faster. E is the one you press when you want to block an attack.

Thanks for your comment Joshua. I was going crazy trying to complete the optional objective to Sequence 10. Nowhere did anyone mention having to press the right muse button! Thanks so much!
